It would be pretty easy to do a master servers thing... You could do it with a PHP script that the engine interacts with. You could host it here, if you didn't expect to have all that many people playing internet games at the same tuime. You could just make it have a list of IPs that were active in ...

I was playing around in Photoshop with some ideas that I want to see if I can make in the next release, and I came up with this: http://stephengentle.com/img/ca3de/mainmenu.jpg It will hopefullly have sub menus for the optioins and start server buttons, and a "Really Quit?" dialogue for the Quit but...

The right-click menus are typically context-menus, which I have not yet found the time to implement. However, no functionality is missing, everything is available via the main menu bar or key shortcuts. It's pretty annoying to have to keep opening the menus, but I should be able to learn most of th...

I see. I'll send you an email with a couple of CS and HL2 maps. They're incredibly complex, so they would be good for testing. If you want, I can also make some very simple ones (like an info_player_start and a couple of rooms). One other thing, can you set the grid size to less than 64px in CaWE? A...

Re: Some (other) problems I'm having
Just because Ca3DE uses files with the same file ending and look similar, they are not the same. You can't just put others there and hope that everything is working. They might have completely different tasks, share different sources or are built in differently. Ca3DE is a stand-alone 3D engine and...

Some (other) problems I'm having
I have found that there are a few problems with Ca3DE and the SDK that are really annoying. One thing is that sometimes the Ca3DE window loses focus, and the taskbar appears, and then I have to Alt-Tab back into the engine. After this happens, it gets stuck on an action, like walking in one directio...

Textures?
I recently got the latest SDK, and I tried to play the techdemo, but I found that I don't have any of the textures it uses except for the texture on the terrain. Why are these not included? I combined them with the textures from the latest engine release... The map design looks very good though. The...

As I spend all my time working on the Ca3D-Engine core, the upcoming TechDemo etc., active Mac development is currently only possible if there is a severe commercial interest in it, as I had to buy the hardware, the software, and -most importantly- stop all other Ca3DE development while I complete ...

Anti Aliasing
Does Ca3DE support Anti-aliasing? I haven't seen any settings for this in the console and in the main configuration menu. Are there any plans to support AA in the future? This map's terrain looks jagged at the top, and AA would make it look a lot more realistic...
