i like it. but most machines at least where i live dont have the letters raised like in the bump map. the front part is just a single convex piece of plastic. otherwise it looks great.

really? i have never gotten over 60fps. i will add load to the program and i still get 60 indicating that it could run faster but isnt... or so i thought

yeah i kinda notice this as well. while i was testing the mplayer stuff i had 60fps w/o people in the room. then with 3 people i was still getting 58fps except when i respawned. then it dropped to like 20 for a second or so

yeah it is. wait until i at least try and texture it. hopefully tomorrow. i forgot to turn off oct projection so the perspective looks kinda funny.

another one. i know it needs some optimizing. i know where but its only like 100 polys over what i wanted as a limit so its not that bad. gonna texture the matrix and then this. took me about 45 minutes to do the modeling

ok i think u misunderstood me. is there a way to have or simulate a light that is changing the direction it is casting light at? i have done this with ogl but it might not be possible because of the way lights are handled. i was thinking maybe having a rather bright specular object that is transpare...

ca3d uses OGL for graphics rendering correct? and wut is used to handle input and internet? wxwidgets? dinput? directplay? i could create my own ogl fog routine fairly easily since i already have this in a couple of games. but if it needs to be handled differently i dont know
