Re: OpenGL 3 port
Sorry for not keeping you updated, but since I have a full-time job atm I just can't find the time to get into the project. So no port from me, sorry.

Yay
Where do you plan on hosting the git server? On cafu.de with full control over it or github with easy forking and easy pull requests but less control and a predefined (but IMO quite good) bugtracker?

Hi,
So I did find the time to read the thread. *yay*
Carsten, may I ask how far you got with implementing UnivMeshT?

OpenGL 3 port
Hello Carsten,
I wanted to learn OpenGL 3 and thought of trying to implement it into Cafu. Don't expect anything, it's more like me learning how to use OpenGL, but I wanted to ask if you already started implementing it so I don't rewrite existing code.

Re: Cafu trunk on ArchLinux with GCC 4.7.1
Well, you DO get colors with clang
And when people use colorgcc they get color, too. Well, maybe we should just let people do that on their own when they want colors...

Re: Cafu trunk on ArchLinux with GCC 4.7.1
One more comment: I would add the following line to SConstruct to preserve colors (if existing):
envCommon['ENV']['TERM'] = os.environ['TERM']
envCommon['ENV']['TERM'] = os.environ['TERM']

Hello Carsten and everyone else,
I tried to build Cafu trunk on ArchLinux with GCC 4.7.1 and figured out I needed the patch I attached to build it.

Re: Cafu on Github
Btw: your smilies look sort of creepy :wink: <-- This one?? That's not a smiley, it's my avatar. :cheesy: But, really... creepy? I got quite used to and grew fond of them (although I think about throwing about 2/3 of them out). Do you happen to know a better set? Actually I was talking about those:...

Hi Carsten,
wow, didn't expect such a positive response
Okay, then I'll try to keep it up to date until there is an official version.

Cafu on Github
Hello everyone, because I prefer git, github forking is awesome and I couldn't find it yet, I uploaded the Cafu subversion trunk to github. I'll update it from time to time; feel free to remind me :wink: Here it is: https://github.com/sycoso/Cafu Of course I'd prefer Carsten to do it, but I guess he...
