In theory (I'm quite sure but have not tried), this can be done, especially if you can make it so that the door has two animation sequences: opening and closing.

The better solution however is (fixing #156 and) using the MoverBinary.

Thanks for posting the scene files. The advice with forceRM("Textures/generic/_white") was a bit problematic, because the skies look wrong in this mode while they are technically fine, so please ignore seeing lightmaps in the sky. :cheesy: The problem is that I cannot reproduce the lighting in your ...

I'm curious to why when I compile the level on high ,why walls that are in shadow render blue, if it was set to normal its a lot darker It's hard to tell from the screenshot alone, but it looks as if moonlight from outside (which is set to have a bluish tint) casts through the window into the build...

Woah, I thought that I had fixed this earlier, but just figured out that I had initially committed the fix to a different branch, probably with the intention to cherry-pick it to master later.
Done now, the next git pull will cover it. :cheesy:

Note that for setting the model scale, you can also use the Joint Inspector or the Transform dialog.

Ok, the solution is simple: In the CaWE Model Editor, in the Mesh Inspector , set the tangent-space method from GLOBAL to HARD. This should fix the problem. (Sorry that multiple meshes cannot be selected at once. If you have many meshes to change, the simplest solution is running a search & replace ...

Thanks for uploading the sample models, I'll look at them later today. File formats that bring explicit normal vectors tend to be better, because on import, we can just overtake whatever is in the model file. Some file formats don't cover normal vectors or they may just not be included in the model ...

If I understand you correctly, "dae" has unwanted smoothing but proper texture paths while the other formats have proper smoothing but full texture paths?
