The Program for Ca3DE is very VHE (the Worl...

How about Ca-Tools with SMP-Support?
Hello everyone! Ive just tested around with GTKRadiant and Q3Map2 a bit and noticed that Q3Map2 has the possibility to run on multiple threads. That means that it can work with multiple cores and processors. If the Ca-Tools have SMP-Support, they would be extremely efficient. Also, im thinking about...

Of course but you can also use it for better fps in games and better graphics ;) noooooo... Have you readed the article about advanced physics in the old C'T? No? So, it is proven that GPU-calculated physics (and that are only FX-Physics like particles etc. and not collision detection, ragd...

Well, it can do that. But how you want to calculate the whole physics within the GPU, when the GPU is also overheated by high detailed geometry, per-pixel lighting and shadowing, massive use of Normal-Mapping/Parallax-Mapping, HDRR and other brainless techniques for increase of reality (maybe SHL, S...

Sry but a physics cart is just crap, I think the approaches to calculate AI on GPU's is much more promising when it comes to it's potential to be spread in public! Yawn... decentralisation is here the keyword. Physics and AI on a GPU *are* crap. Because, a GPU can't give information back to the pro...

Hello JRCAL! First of all, no, it isnt possible to convert the sourcecode into C#. Because C# is a really different language than C++. Also, not every library that is written in C++ is also ported to .NET. For example, Managed DX is very unstable and i dont even know, if there is a Managed OGL port....

And i dont think that those will be added until October. :?: What makes you think so? Well, you have worked on the engine since 1994 and had no time to implement collision, advanced GUI scripting, carving etc. That does not mean that youve made bad work. But its a fact that you can't develop so fas...

Sure. We're working on it. I hope that a first version of the Ca3DE Tech-Demo can be released in September or October this year. I want to remember that Ca3DE still has some basic functions (working Carving, collision-detection for static models, shadow-techniques for static models, etc.) missing. ...

Well, i think that the standard Internet communication (Forum, IRC etc.) is enough. More way's would just complicate everything. But it would be cool, if we make some sort of development journal. A Blog with things (even crap :P ) about the development of Ca3DE and the TD. I had this idea because iv...
