Cursor ingame
Hi @ll, I am trying to make a custom cursor not only visile in GUIs but in the whole game. Seperating the mouse moves from the camera position was not that comlicated, but: is there an easy way to display an cursor in the whole game? The Idea: I am using some abstractions under the BaseEntityT, so t...

Re: Help for the Start - 3rd Person view
Okay, I tried some things - but I realize that I have to grow my C++ Skills a little further ;) But I realize the 3rd person view modular, so it can easily be exported. And - I will SURE give you the sources, the better this rad engine grows, the better. OT: Next week (Tue-Thu) my team is meeting fo...

Help for the Start - 3rd Person view
Hi @ll, I tried to figure out the things by myself - but I don't even get an idea how to start with my Ideas: * Player is in 3rd person view * Holding LMB and moving (4 directions!) moves the camera * (optional) scrolling moves the camera away or towards the player (nearest is 1st Person view) * (op...

Double sided bezier patch?
Hi @ll, I tried to make a roof out of a piece of cloth and used a simple bezier patch. When I watch it from above, it looks great, but from inside (the other side of the patch) there is nothing, it only renders from one side. Is it possible to make it render from both sides or do I have to use a sol...

Re: Scons Problem
Hi X21,
have you tried to start scons entering the whole path to the scons Executable? On my Mac, this works fine.

Model-Editor Unwrapping?
Hi folks,
Does the Model Editor support exporting a Wireframe to enable making a texture for a specific model? I cannot do this from my editing tool and I'd like to create very detailed textures... Or is there a way to simply create border-line-images from a model the simple way?

As I want to extend my C++ skills, I think I can use my semester break in Feb/Mar to contribute a little... Maybe I can manage to get the whole buch running on Mac

Realistic water
Hi guys'n'gals I thought about making the Water more realistic. I only did the normal water in CaWE... but it does not move and when the camera is inside the water, there is no water visible. So I think this list could tell about all the things that are needed for creating realistic water: Water sur...

GUI: Materials for buttons
Hi @all, I watched all the Demos and pictures and I noticed that every GUI element is in this blue-tone. I also read that there is a possibility to assign materials to the GUI elements, but can I make buttons with rounded-corners or such things? Or is this only possible using materials with alpha ch...

Re: Creating own game
Hi Carsten,
so I made 3 Tickets out of what I thought on this case. Hopefully I can get into CaFU a little quicker in my College-free-time in three weeks and explore cafu a little more. I like the project and I'd love to contribute more.
