Re: [Off-Topic] Drawing text, menus etc. in OpenGL
I suppose the main thing I was trying to ask was what would be the best way of keeping track of a lot of controls. An example is that for each button, you give it a pointer to a function (which is executed when the button is pressed). Say in this I wanted to change a text box's contents. I don't wan...

[Off-Topic] Drawing text, menus etc. in OpenGL
Hi, I was playing around with OpenGL, and I am making a simple (2D) game. This computer can handle Half-Life 2: Episode 1 at 50 - 60 fps.
Maybe I should try again after a restart.
Oh, and also, I was not able to launch the terminal - it's on the '~' / '`' key, isn't it?

Second, 16 MB GPU RAM and 400 MHz is not a system configuration that is likely to run the latest Ca3DE TechDemo map, which requires 256 MB GPU RAM normally and even about 64 MB when texture quality is reduced to low... Well, I can give it a go. It played the techdemo in previous releases OK, althou...

Carsten, if you put an icon in, we can replace it with Resource Hacker. I don't think it's possible to add an icon if it doesn't have one, but you can replace pictures in the EXE. You can also modify the text and layout of the main dialogue.
