wow yea this is a war between OpenGL and DirectX (specific Direct 3D)
Anyway I'm just saying, is not obligatory change the render in Windows to DirectX, OpenGL is powerfull to but I guess the most part of AAA titles uses DirectX (graphics)

Thanks for testing! St13runtime_error Could not find a sound system that is supported on your system. Is this the only error message? Can you please post the complete console output? yeah is the only error mesage, anyway I didn't use the console, I said run, not run in console... I'll try to run it...

DirectX has better rendering and more features than OpenGL (even older version DirectX is a complete API where you can programming not only graphics) unfortunately the most important feature on OpenGL is the portability, anyway Cafu can include DX but only for windows systems and OpenGL can be used ...

no, just I said the requeriments are a little realtive. I heard about people has 60FPS with 512 MB of ram... others with 1.5GHZ of CPU, others with 128MB GPU. Now I have my computer upgraded with 2.33GHZ(per core) Intel core 2 duo, 2GB of RAM, 1GB of video (nvidia gt220c) and the engine now runs 80F...

I have very low FPS (Arroun 15-25) when I play Tech Demo Map with my PC 2.8GHZ Intel Celeron 2GB of Ram and 256 Video Card Nvidia Geforce 7050. Even in my own map I have 5 to 10FPS

But cant you download/install the drivers? I have an error when attempting to run the application files. The command prompt gives an error but only stays up for half a second. :? I dont think it has to do wiht specs, cafu engine and the world editor run just fine. Does it have to do with my specs? ...
