Again it's been a while but i would like to ask if someone knows about the FMX in Stuttgart, Germany !

Its germanys biggest event in CG, Animation, Games, and digital Media. I highly recommend to take a sneak if you are somehow related to the industry.

There are also recruitments, workshops or masterclasses where people could join and listen or show portfolios, or just chat about business. Its pretty wide in variety but you will meet some nice, interesting people. For example, i met Ken Perlin (a really funny guy) or people from Crytek, Nvidia or Pixar.

Wow, thanks for the info - I've not known about this conference before! Is this in Stuttgart every year, or does it move annually over the continents?
The timetable and the talks look very interesting and impressive!

May 5th to May 8th... hmmmm, I'd LOVE to be there - I'll check!

Jep its always in Stuttgart, every year around may and for 4 days.
Only flaw is maybe the price for "ordinary" people, which is pretty high for full access, students pay a very low price (50 bucks)...

On the other side this prevents non-business people or kids to show up, so its a very nice and enclosed atmosphere.
Anyway would be cool to see you there, talk maybe have a beer or two on the party
