the development releases are too much big
you should not add the death match mod to every release
instead made it available separately it will trim down the size and the
time to download it to 1\5th of the current

it will be useful to those who have low bandwidth(like me) or have
a per MB connection

Except for the fact that you'd have to download the separated DeathMatch mod in a second download anyways - how else are you supposed to get a basic and complete demo running?

An alternative with a much lower bandwidth requirement is getting the source code, either via Subversion or from the file archives, these have only about 70 MB and extra contents has extra packages (Textures and Worlds).
