First let me re-introduce myself to Kai. I talked to you about nine months ago under the sn S_Sykes. I don't know if you remember, but you gave me the Glock 17 to skin. I was also working on a Tavor assault rilfe at the time. I've been offline for around nine months, only been back for a week now.
Anyway, I started back working on these two models and would like to show some pics and videos. Just remember these are far from finished.
Glock 17 _p model:
Glock 17 _v model:
Glock 17 in game video:
Glock17-02.wmv
Tavor fire anim:
Tavor reload anim (wip):
Tavor in game video:
Tavor-Anims-01.wmv
I used Faps -
http://www.fraps.com - to make the video. You must register the software to record sound. Also the avi file that is created is very large, so I use Windows Movie Maker to compress.

Both weapons are about the same, a little over 500 polys.
As I said, they are far from finished. I can still delete most of the faces on the right side for the _v models. The _p and _w models are the same as the _v model for now.

the grip of the pistol looks really unnatural. search google and u will see wut i mean. its like the whole gun is to wide or sumthing. my glock fits nicely in my hand. but then again i have big hands since im well over six feet

Yes, it can be scaled down a bit.
Here's a few arrows for the crossbow I am working on:

Hello Stormtrooper! I thought your name looked familiar.
Started on a crossbow tonight. Only had a couple hours to work on it, but I think it's a good start.

Thanks!
Spent an hour after work today on the crossbow. This is not a low poly version that will be in game. This model will most likely be used for normal mapping, when finished.
Extended stock.
Added scope - scope mount - cable.

There is no need to have ultra low poly weapon models in the first person view. You should use the Ca3DE feature of different models to give the player a good looking, high poly weapon but in 3rd person view a low poly one to save capacity when having lightning!

Started working on a new shotgun model and some shells to fire.

Only a couple hours worth of work, so it is still a wip.

It is rather difficult for me to find time to model, as I have a full time job in real-life. I would like to focus on getting Carsten a new set of custom models for his next demo release, with what little free time I have.
I can't say for sure that I will be able to help you. However, I have a couple friends who are extremely talented modelers. I will contact them for you. Maybe they would like to help your mod.
