Why is this relevant to CA3DE, I hear you ask?
Well its because ActorX for XSI exports to the .ase format. So with the next build of ca3d coming, xsi can now make static meshes for it. not only that but according to the softimage website, the plugin isnt supposed to work for the full versions, but it does, I tested it myself and brought an .ase into unrealed.
So I'm really happy now.
