My mic broke after years of use.... I need a new one, but there are so many kinds. I mostly just use them for recording sound effects and no music. I've got a pretty large budget so almost anything is possible. Please help me!!!

Depends on what you want to do with it! If you want to record your voice or other stuff with it, a simple headset might not suit your tasks. Amazon.com might have some good micros for low prices.

I have a Sennheiser Mic and it is very good. You do not have to buy the expensive ones, mid price section should be enough.

I just need a new microphone for my PC. My old one just got worse and worse until I had to throw it out. I just need a new one that has good reception and doesn't peak out or give too much feedback.
