Hi Carsten,
Im considering buying some books of Amazon.com, yet I notice they say that International shipping takes 3 - 6 weeks, which seems a bit much.
How long does it take you on average to get books delivered?

Depending on where you are located geographically, it can be very worthwhile to compare even among amazon domains: I recently looked for a book that was priced 99,95 Euro for a used exemplar at http://www.amazon.de (and was the only exemplar available), whereas at http://www.amazon.com the same book (new!) was at only 39,00 US$ (approx. 29 Euro).
Thus I happily paid additional 13,00 US$ for overseas shipping rather than ordering at http://www.amazon.de .

I live in Australia, and there doesnt seem to be a http://www.Amazon.com.au, so i can only buy from Amazon.com, i think

The book I bought was by far cheaper at .com than at .de, so no need to worry about buying at .com, imho.I live in Australia, and there doesnt seem to be a http://www.Amazon.com.au, so i can only buy from Amazon.com, i think
