Has anyone actually developed a mod for Ca3DE, last time I checked Kai was working mainly on the Tech Demo, Shadow was working on PBX (but I think he's gone on to use Cube instead). Is anyone actually using the engine or are we all waiting for the engine to be developed a little more?

Well, hard to answer, problem is that everything changes with the time. But personally, Ill start developing with the next version of Ca3DE when the map editor is done and the material system works. Mapping can be started then and also I can import then static models in ASE format!

I already modelled some static models. The only things I'll then need to start over are the new weapons/bones system and the scripting system! :D

Yeah, that is what I was pretty much planning to do, Graphics first, maps with CaWE and then script. It's just I was curious as to what people are currently working on, like storylines, etc.

Well, theres a very rough concept along with 5-6 static models and a German grenade! I have to finish my current mod project first before I can concentrate on the development of this Ca3DE game. I'll make an announcement here when it's time has come

Just a little teaser...

Oh good, I look forward to it.

Your just like me then, I know ruffly what my storylines gonna be (I am currently writing the detailed version) and I'm just working on some models now :). I'm going to wait for CaWE before I start the maps though, oh and I haven't really done any serious map concept art. But, I'm getting there.

Anyway, keep us posted on you development, I hope to hear from you soon :P

if its from the french point of view wouldnt it be surrender asap? lol
i was using cube cause it looked further along. but i have run into problems as far as really low poly caps for player models. so as of now pbx is halted. the next ca3d update and cube update are coming out about the same time so i will see which will make me do less fixing in order to get the engine to work for my needs b4 i go any further. game looks good stromtrooper

I would seriously recommend using Ca3De, I found out about cube before I even knew about Ca3De and began a MOD myself, upon a discussion in their forum it came to my attention that the entire game Cube is Client Side, all a player has to do is send a message saying he hit and killed someone and they die, the server doesn't even check to see if it was possible. There are countless cheats and hacks in Cube and due to the way it was made I would say it is practically pointless to attempt fixing them unless you want to entirely redo the engine.

Definatly use Ca3De (unless of course I am wrong, then I appologise).
