i have downloaded the CA3DE and i saved it to my documents, it apperes to be a .zip file and i do not have win zip. is there any way of using the Ca3De with out win zip

welcome to the Ca3DE forums.

If you use Windows XP, then you can extract the .zip file with means of WinXP alone: right-click on the file and find the appropriate menu entry.

Otherwise, you should get an external tool for the same purpose, like for example WinZip, or 7-zip (recommended).
