I downloaded cafu source code and compiled it using your guide (vs10)
however when I try to run cafu.exe i always get this error...
some of my friends have already tried this on their PCs and they got the
same error
class std::runtime_error
could not find a renderer that is supported on your system
sorry for my english, I hope you can help me

Hi podzyganka,
welcome to the Cafu forums!

This is a question that is asked quite frequently, so I just added this to our FAQ:
Cafu reports an "Initialization Error", what can I do?
Does that help?

(Well, it seems that the demand for the new Model Editor is even larger than I anticipated...!
)
We're currently working on a Model Editor that is made to address exactly this kind of problem, see
http://www.cafu.de/wiki/modeleditor:introduction for an overview.
Until the Model Editor is finished though, there are only the somewhat limited options described in the subsections of
http://www.cafu.de/wiki/#modelling for loading model files;
currently supported file formats are
ase,
mdl (Half-Life1),
lwo, and
md5 (Doom3).
I'll do my best though to make a usable version of the Model Editor available asap!
