Just a few questions though, will they have collision? and finally will they be able to use smoothing groups?

Thanks :D

Hi Scott :)

ASE. will mainly be used for a fast export from Max directly into Ca3d without the disturbing compiling steps that MDL requires.
It works well so far and even for very highpoly objects (20k and more)

To answer your questions:
will they have collision
I hope so ^^ Collision for modelobjects is still not implemented. This feature needs to be implemented into the engine not the modelformat ;)
So far collision is only based on levelgeometry.
will they be able to use smoothing groups
Hmm well its implemented and works :)
