Doom 3 looks

So I see that ca3de's map editor can load up DooM3 maps...can it's graphic quality resemble or surpass the Doom 3 Engine? If yes...how about a pic of ca3de Looking like Doom 3 (maybe with a real Doom 3 map)

Sure. We're working on it. I hope that a first version of the Ca3DE Tech-Demo can be released in September or October this year.

I want to remember that Ca3DE still has some basic functions (working Carving, collision-detection for static models, shadow-techniques for static models, etc.) missing. And i dont think that those will be added until October.

- Some Linux Bash-Scripts for installing stuff. Dont ask further questions, because i can't explain that more simple ^^

What makes you think so?
Well, you have worked on the engine since 1994 and had no time to implement collision, advanced GUI scripting, carving etc. That does not mean that youve made bad work. But its a fact that you can't develop so fast like a professional team.
