Hmmm, thanks to the forums, I think we could just get a little community off the ground again.

Can we post our maps that we create here?
or
Links to the maps we create, but hosted offsite?

I'm certainly not an authority on this issue, but go for it, I dont see anything wrong with this idea.

Yes, of course, I'd be very happy about that! :D
Great idea!

As you cannot attach files to forum posts (the database is only 100 MB in size), I'd suggest to host the maps off site, and post links to them here.

(Alternatively, I offer to accept maps per email, and host+post them here, just in the case that somebody has no own webspace. This is a pretty inconvenient procedure though, for both you and me, and mostly intended as an emergency work-around.)

fragger has a map he is using to get the hang of this... look for it somewhere in here, cant rem where. im working on a basic map to use as a demo/test for my paintball game. (http://www.seigelords.com/Hiethan (will be shortening soon)). give it a try yourself. just get hammer and map away. then read the new materials manual and it tells how to export.

Actually I've made about 6 little test maps just to get the hang of the features and the terrain, I've never actually tried to make anything decent though, Just a simple structure here and there, I deleted them all a while ago, I really shouldnt have though, theres one that I could have used as a base for something more detailed
