Reason: Replaced excessively large screenshot with a scaled-down version.

Dear haxxel,
welcome to the Cafu forums!
welcome to the Cafu forums!
Well, the usual questions:haxxel wrote:Textures are stretched and stuff,
- Which version of CaWE do you use?
- What exactly did you do to create the brushes shown in the screenshot? (I.e., how can I reproduce this?)
Best regards,
Carsten

Re: texturing problem
I made exactly what the flash tutorial said, the one about your first map, haven't changed any texture or anything, i use the latest version, i have downloaded again just to be sure.
Re: texturing problem
Ah, ok, that was probably r73 and you were seeing bug #25.haxxel wrote:i use the latest version, i have downloaded again just to be sure.
I've just uploaded latest r141, please get the new file from the Downloads page, CaWE should then work as expected.

Thanks Much appreciated
Re: texturing problem
Uh... shit. Same bug again.
Repeated the tutorial, atleast the floor isn't bugged :/
Sry.

Hmmm. I'm baffled, especially as I cannot reproduce this here.haxxel wrote:Uh... shit. Same bug again.

- Do all your brushes show this problem (on some sides)?
- How did you create the affected brushes? (anew with the brush tool? as a copy and paste from another brush? drag with Shift-key? ...?)
- Did you perform any operations (scaling, cutting, ...) on them after they've been created?
(In other words, did you create e.g. the wall initially as a very small brush, then scale them into the much bigger wall? If so, was the brush ok after creation but before the scale?) - Also please note that if you saved the map with buggy brushes with the previous version of CaWE, loading them with the new version will not automatically fix the problem.
No need to be sorry at all - I'm very grateful for your reports, as they help making Cafu better.Sry.
Can you please send me your CaWE configuration file?
You find the file in the folder that is mentioned at the bottom of the Help - About dialog.
Final note:
I've just uploaded latest r142, as usual available from the Downloads page. Sorry for not having realized earlier that displaying the material (texture map) image in the left bar (above buttons "Browse" and "Replace") did not properly work, the new version fixes this problem.
Best regards,
Carsten

Re: texturing problem
Hmm... I tried making a video showing how i made it, but then everything worked I tried some more times, couldn't recreate the bug.
I created the furthermost wall by shift-dragging, I scaled the wall to fit the roof & floor. The roof was unmodified
It wasn't a saved map, i made a new one.
Posting some specs if it helps in some way.
OS
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (build 7600), 64-bit
RAM
3.0 GB
CPU
Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz
GPU
ATI Radeon HD4550 512MB DDR3
Sound Card
ATI High Definition Audio Device
