Double sided bezier patch?

Post by Haimi » 2012-02-05, 15:25

Hi @ll,

I tried to make a roof out of a piece of cloth and used a simple bezier patch. When I watch it from above, it looks great, but from inside (the other side of the patch) there is nothing, it only renders from one side. Is it possible to make it render from both sides or do I have to use a solid brush and make it as thin as possible?

Hi Haimi,

whether a surface is rendered when looked at "from behind" is determined by the twoSided keyword in the materials definition, see http://www.cafu.de/wiki/matsys:cmat_man ... _universal for more details.

Does that help?
Best regards,
Carsten
