Carsten,

Tks for the update...I'm only now getting on to it...negotiated some more time to complete the project. But I'm having a problem.

When i run it in client mode or client/server mode it crashes. Standalone server works.

Okay, I'll look into it tomorrow.
Any error messages or other output before/after the crash?
Best regards,
Carsten

the server started scrolling a client error message in the console that was passing so fast i couldn't read it and couldn't stop it without closing the window. I'll try to duplicate it so i can get the exact error message

I just tried out the Ca3DE.exe file that I linked in my previous post in this thread by copying it into the place of the Ca3DE.exe that came with the September 2006 SDK (just as described earlier), and here it worked as expected.

 Please let me know anything that is printed into the black console window after you tried to start a client or client/server game. Note that the window is not supposed to close as long as the main dialog is open.

Alternatively, you may run Ca3DE.exe from the command-line. Then the output will go to the command-line, too, and then it is easy to copy'n'paste it here.
Best regards,
Carsten
