2001-10-03 Code design issues

Over the past few weeks, I have spent a lot of time working on Ca3DE. It seems, however, that I cannot keep my promise of releasing the first network version soon. The reason is that in spite of the fact that the executable works well, I realized that there are a few serious code design problems. These problems prevent me from adding additional (smaller) features which I hope, nonetheless, to see incorporated into the next release. I am, therefore, working on fixing these problems now. A lot of work has already been done, but the new deadline is January 2002. I apologise that it cannot be finished earlier - but I want to complete my work properly.
