Map Compilation Error
I was trying my first map creation. when i compile the map, it gives an error saying

It worked fine after setting the configuration settings manually for the CaWE. I had to set the absolute paths. Relative paths didn't work even though I am using the latest source code.

It is in fact possible that the relative default paths don't work if you've compiled yourself from source. For example, a simple "

It is in fact possible that the relative default paths don't work if you've compiled yourself from source. For example, a simple "
CaBSP.exe
" setting (with no real path component) assumes that CaBSP.exe
is in the working directory (the top-level Cafu directory). However, when compiled from source, it is rather in a subdirectory like build\win32\vc10\x86\release\CaBSP\CaBSP.exe
, so your approach to set the proper (absolute) paths is the correct solution. Best regards,

Hey I'm sorry i couldn't do this. I will do it. (was busy with exams) I have never used a ticketing thing before and i do not know how to use this. But I'll try and buzz u if any problems are encountered.
