Just thought I'd mention that I'm now going to university to study game development, I started on tuesday and damn is it fun.
A lot of the stuff I'am breezing through due to a lot of my experience with level editors and 3ds Max. Currently the class is learning the Unreal engine since it is very popular in the industry, it suits me fine since I have been messing wuth unreal since the first UT.
Thankfully we are allowed to use any sort of engine we want for our major assignments so I plan to use CA3DE, it should interesting to see what I can do with it, the computers in our lab are top of the line, decked out with the latest geforce 6800's. I cant wait to try out the next build on one of these babies
The only thing I'm dreading is programming AAAAARRRGGGHHH!!
OT: Game dev course
